Dimetrodon by Papo

$19.99

The pelycosaur predator.
The Dimetrodon lived during the Permian, millions of years before the first dinosaur. This has not stopped it from becoming one of the most celebrated prehistoric animals in popular culture, noted for its familiar "sprawling" posture, with a distinctive sail running along the back. This sail is believed to have served in regulating the predator's body temperature, or aiding in sexual display. In 2013, Papo moved toward more scientifically accurate prehistoric reconstructions with this Dimetrodon model. Finely detailed and outfitted with an articulated jaw, it has been acclaimed as one of their greatest figures.
