Ankylosaurus by Papo

Like many manufacturers, Papo has released their armored dinosaur under the popular name "Ankylosaurus". Strictly speaking, this replica bears a closer resemblance to Euoplocephalus, a related ankylosaur with several distinct physical characteristics, such as the tall spikes protruding from the upper back. Equipped with a heavy club tail and bony armor, even the eyelids of this herbivore are believed to have been guarded by retractable shutters. Ankylosaurs likely hunkered down when threatened by predators, but the aggressive posture of this replica suggests a confrontation on the brink of bone-crushing violence.
