The 1:40 scale Battat Boston Museum of Science figures were crafted in the 1990's by Dan LoRusso and Gregory Wenzel. When the series was discontinued, they became some of the sought after dinosaur figures ever produced, prized by collectors for their highly accurate sculpts and vibrant paint schemes. Wenzel eventually left The Dinosaur Studio, leaving LoRusso as the keeper of their resin model line. In 2014, Battat finally reintroduced their popular dinosaur figures with the "Battat Terra" series. The reissued models bear all new paint designs, and Dan LoRusso sculpted entirely new models to expand the revered series.
