Safety:
These are all hand made pieces cast in urethane, and they are NOT toys to be given to young children to play with. These are intended as limited edition collector pieces for adults, and they are painted with lacquers, latex, and oil paints.
About the artist:
Malcolm Mlodoch is a second generation artist; both of his parents were artists. By the time he was a sophomore in high school, he was a full blown impressionist painter, painting plein-air landscapes in oils of his home town. His father was a museum exhibit artist for forty years, and Malcolm followed in his footsteps. At the age of 19, he started his professional career working at Richard Rush Studios, a custom art studios that specialized in scientific models, dioramas, murals for museums, zoos, aquariums and other institutions. It was at this studio that he learned all about the materials and techniques used by industry artists to create museum exhibits, and has been learning and refining his skills ever since as he worked for General Exhibits, Artists Inc, and Superior Exhibits. Malcolm has been a professional museum exhibit artist for 29 years now, and has done work for clients all over the world, from small local university museums to large institutions in major cities- even in the Petronas Towers in Malaysia. He has worked on projects ranging in scale from tiny human fetus models to a life size T.rex and mammoths.
