A scientifically accurate reconstruction of the "parrot lizard".
Procon CollectA presents this four-inch figure of the Psittacosaurus, a new addition to the CollectA 2009 lineup. There have been nearly a dozen species of Psittacosaurus identified through fossil finds. The tiny herbivore is considered an early ceratopsian, a relative of the famous Triceratops and its kin. Recent fossil finds suggest the animal had long quills extending from its tail, and this has been accurately depicted in this figure. Fossil evidence also suggests that Psittacosaurus was an extremely active parent, possibly engaging in communal nesting.
