Product Description

Stenopterygius is an extinct genus of Ichthyosaur that grew up to 4m long. It existed during the Early Jurassic of Europe.

Dimensions: 47cm long, 15cm flipper-span

Based on a specimen from the Natural History Museum, London. The colouration for this design was inspired by the discovery that at least some ichthyosaur species were likely black in colour. (Ref: Nature)
