Nanuqsaurus was a relative of Tyrannosaurus Rex, whose remains were discovered in what is now Alaska. It lived in very high latitude environments and would have been subjected to extreme climates, including cold weather. It may have had feathers to provide additional warmth. This species gained considerable pop culture attention after its appearance in the Apple series "Prehistoric Planet".
