An attractive armored sauropod sculpted in an active pose.
The Saltasaurus may have looked relatively small for a sauropod, but it was certainly not a tiny animal - fully grown, it may have reached lengths exceeding 12 meters. It is also distinguished by the rows of osteoderms lining its back, reminiscent of the armored plating of ankylosaurs. This actively sculpted herbivore is one of the most appealing dinosaurs in the Carnegie Collection, and very desktop-friendly at 20 centimeters in length.
