The "Shoshone Mountain lizard" was discovered in Nevada during the 1920's, in a deposit containing 37 unusual ichthyosaurs. The most notable characteristic of the Shonisaurus is its size, with some specimens exceeding 20 meters in length. This fine resin kit by Max Salas has been reproduced at a more manageable 1:35 scale, and makes a fine addition to any collection of marine reptiles.
