Beipiaosaurus by Carnegie

$10.99
Covered in dual layers of feathers, this exotic species is something of a dinosaur "wild card".
This feathered theropod bears anatomical features of various dinosaur groups, which has made it a mysterious and difficult creature to classify. The animal is considered a therizinosaur, but is particularly unique as a dinosaur since it is covered in two layers of feathers. This beautiful, beaked Beipiaosaurus figure by Safari measures a full eight inches in length.

"The Carnegie Collection Beipiaosaurus figure is moderately sized at about 20 cm long. Beipiaosaurus is actually a very small animal a little over 2m long so the Carnegie model has been produced at a larger scale (1:10) than most of the others in the series. This has allowed plenty of detail to be incorporated in the sculpt... In my opinion this is the best Therizinosaur figure available."
